how a “lavender haze” can help your “midnights”

Taylor Swift might find some peace at midnight if she chooses a non toxic lavender haze.

No, it has nothing to do with Taylor’s relationships (well, maybe a little bit?). Our non toxic lavender haze comes in a little bottle labeled “monster spray.” It’s made with lavender essential oil and roman chamomile flower oil, perfect when you need to calm down and get some rest.

Does it really work?

An article in Prevention magazine says, “Research shows that the scent of lavender eases anxiety and insomnia.” In a study conducted at Britain’s University of Southampton, adult “volunteers ranked the quality of their sleep 20% better on average” when they slept in a lavender-scented room.

Researchers in a study at Wesleyan University found that “lavender increased slow-wave sleep, the very deep slumber in which the heartbeat slows and muscles relax. During this phase, the brain is thought to organize memory, as well.”

A few spritzes of monster spray on your pillow at night is an effective means of using lavender as aromatherapy. You can also spritz it into the air to freshen up any room. Incorporate monster spray into your bedtime routine for more restful sleep.

Taylor, if you’re reading this, we’re ready to help you chase those monsters away before bedtime. Just give us a holler and we’ll drop off some monster spray at your New England home, no problem. After all, we’re practically neighbors!
